Though Man Has Been Born Again (Born From Above)
2010-10-12 19:05
Today in this world, there are many people who have been born again, but those who have been born again and are also in Christ Jesus cannot be found. God made men born again so that those who have been born of God might be conformed to the likeness of His Son in Christ Jesus and inherit the kingdom of God with His Son.
The Bible clearly testifies to it. It is written, "It is because of him that you are in Christ Jesus, who has become for us wisdom from God--that is, our righteousness, holiness and redemption. Therefore, as it is written: 'Let him who boasts boast in the Lord.'" (1 Corinthians 1:30-31).
Therefore, the Bible does not refer to anyone who has been of God as a new creation, but instead says, "Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come!" (2 Corinthians 5:17).
It is because, only for those who of God are in Christ Jesus, Jesus from God has become wisdom, righteousness, holiness and redemption. It is the same as in these words, "no one can see the kingdom of God unless he is born again. no one can enter the kingdom of God unless he is born of water and the Spirit."
As for the one who violates the law that even the sons who have been born of God should be in Christ Jesus, the Bible calls him the man of lawlessness, that is, the son of perdition. Therefore the Lord Jesus said, "Then I will tell them plainly, 'I never knew you. Away from me, you evildoers!'" (Matthew 7:23). And again, "But when the king came in to see the guests, he noticed a man there who was not wearing wedding clothes. 'Friend,' he asked, 'how did you get in here without wedding clothes?' The man was speechless. Then the king told the attendants, 'Tie him hand and foot, and throw him outside, into the darkness, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.' For many are invited, but few are chosen." (Matthew 22:11-14).
Therefore, the Bible said, "Concerning the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our being gathered to him, we ask you, brothers, not to become easily unsettled or alarmed by some prophecy, report or letter supposed to have come from us, saying that the day of the Lord has already come. Don't let anyone deceive you in any way, for that day will not come until the rebellion occurs and the man of lawlessness is revealed, the man doomed to destruction. He will oppose and will exalt himself over everything that is called God or is worshiped, so that he sets himself up in God's temple, proclaiming himself to be God. Don't you remember that when I was with you I used to tell you these things? And now you know what is holding him back, so that he may be revealed at the proper time. For the secret power of lawlessness is already at work; but the one who now holds it back will continue to do so till he is taken out of the way. And then the lawless one will be revealed, whom the Lord Jesus will overthrow with the breath of his mouth and destroy by the splendor of his coming. The coming of the lawless one will be in accordance with the work of Satan displayed in all kinds of counterfeit miracles, signs and wonders, and in every sort of evil that deceives those who are perishing. They perish because they refused to love the truth and so be saved. For this reason God sends them a powerful delusion so that they will believe the lie and so that all will be condemned who have not believed the truth but have delighted in wickedness. But we ought always to thank God for you, brothers loved by the Lord, because from the beginning God chose you to be saved through the sanctifying work of the Spirit and through belief in the truth. He called you to this through our gospel, that you might share in the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ." (2 Thessalonians 2:1-14).
Therefore, the children of disobedience who have been born of God but are not in Christ Jesus and the children of obedience who have been born of God and are in Christ Jesus become enemies. And so the Lord Jesus said, "a man's enemies will be the members of his own household." (Matthew 10:36).
Though anyone has been born of God, if he is not in Christ Jesus, he cannot accomplish the righteousness of God. It is because the righteousness of God is Christ Jesus.
Therefore, the Bible says, "Since they did not know the righteousness that comes from God and sought to establish their own, they did not submit to God's righteousness." (Romans 10:3).
Nobody can be in Christ Jesus unless he denies himself and takes up his cross and follows him. It is as if no branch can bear fruit unless it remains in the vine. And so, if anyone who has been born of God but is not in Christ Jesus says that he has wisdom, righteousness, holiness and redemption, he is a liar and has received the spirit of falsehood.
Therefore, the truth said, "You are all sons of God through faith in Christ Jesus." (Galatians 3:26).
Farming is not finished by sowing but by reaping. And so the truth said, "For to which of the angels did God ever say, 'You are my Son; today I have become your Father'? Or again, 'I will be his Father, and he will be my Son'"? (Hebrews 1:5).
Though a son has been born, he is not a true son yet. When he becomes a son, he will be a true son. Therefore, though anyone has been born of God, he is not a true son of God yet. If he is in Christ Jesus and Jesus from God becomes for him wisdom, righteousness, holiness and redemption, he becomes the true son who will inherit the kingdom of God with Christ Jesus.
This is cannot be done by man, but only by God. It is written, "It does not, therefore, depend on man's desire or effort, but on God's mercy." (Romans 9:16).
I praise God forever and ever only in Christ Jesus. Amen, Amen. Thank you, Lord.
