The Blood Of Jesus, His Son

"This is how you can recognize the Spirit of God: Every spirit that acknowledges that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is from God, but every spirit that does not acknowledge Jesus is not from God. This is the spirit of the antichrist, which you have heard is coming and even now is already in the world." (1 John 4:2-3).
The Bible plainly testifies that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh. It clearly says Jesus Christ is the seed of Abraham: "...because it is through Isaac that your offspring will be reckoned." (Genesis 21:12). And also it confirms that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh, "A record of the genealogy of Jesus Christ the son of David, the son of Abraham." (Matthew 1:1). And again, it clearly says, "regarding his Son, who as to his human nature was a descendant of David." (Romans 1:3).
If Jesus Christ had not come in the flesh, the children of God who have flesh and blood could not be saved. It is written, "Since the children have flesh and blood, he too shared in their humanity so that by his death he might destroy him who holds the power of death--that is, the devil--and free those who all their lives were held in slavery by their fear of death." (Hebrews 2:14-15).
Therefore the Bible says, "For this reason he had to be made like his brothers in every way, in order that he might become a merciful and faithful high priest in service to God, and that he might make atonement for the sins of the people." (Hebrews 2:17).
Therefore, it is clear that the flesh of Jesus Christ is the same as that of man. Because his flesh and blood is the same as man's, man can be united with him in the likeness of his death, and die with him, and put off the body of sin. It is written, "because anyone who has died has been freed from sin." (Romans 6:7).
Yet, his flesh is without sin at all, but the flesh of all men in the world is with sin. It is written, "Therefore, just as sin entered the world through one man, and death through sin, and in this way death came to all men, because all sinned." (Romans 5:12). And also, "For we do not have a high priest who is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses, but we have one who has been tempted in every way, just as we are--yet was without sin." (Hebrews 4:15). And so, the only flesh without sin in the world is Jesus'.
Christ Jesus, who is the Son of God and also the Son of Man, said as the Son of Man, "...I tell you the truth, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink his blood, you have no life in you. Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood has eternal life, and I will raise him up at the last day. For my flesh is real food and my blood is real drink. Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood remains in me, and I in him. Just as the living Father sent me and I live because of the Father, so the one who feeds on me will live because of me." (John 6:53-57). Many people were offended by these words.
Therefore, again he said as the Son of God, "Aware that his disciples were grumbling about this, Jesus said to them, 'Does this offend you? What if you see the Son of Man ascend to where he was before! The Spirit gives life; the flesh counts for nothing. The words I have spoken to you are spirit and they are life." (John 6:61-63).
And so the Bible says, "He did not enter by means of the blood of goats and calves; but he entered the Most Holy Place once for all by his own blood, having obtained eternal redemption. The blood of goats and bulls and the ashes of a heifer sprinkled on those who are ceremonially unclean sanctify them so that they are outwardly clean. How much more, then, will the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself unblemished to God, cleanse our consciences from acts that lead to death, so that we may serve the living God!" (Hebrews 9:12-14).
It is written, "Therefore, from now on, we regard no one according to the flesh. Even though we have known Christ according to the flesh, yet now we know Him thus no longer." (2 Corinthians 5:16).
Therefore, the Bible strictly says about the blood of Jesus His Son, "Anyone who rejected the law of Moses died without mercy on the testimony of two or three witnesses. How much more severely do you think a man deserves to be punished who has trampled the Son of God under foot, who has treated as an unholy thing the blood of the covenant that sanctified him, and who has insulted the Spirit of grace?" (Hebrews 10:28-29).
The words, "the blood of the covenant that sanctified," means the blood of the Son of God, whom God sanctified and sent into the world. It is written, "do you say of Him whom the Father sanctified and sent into the world, 'You are blaspheming,' because I said, 'I am the Son of God'?" (John 10:36).
"The one whom God sanctified and sent into the world" is God's only begotten Son, not the flesh, the son of David, the son of Abraham. And so, the flesh and blood is not the Son of God; the Son of God only shared in flesh and blood. As it is written, "Since the children have flesh and blood, he too shared in their humanity," flesh and blood is not the Son of God; the one who shared in flesh and blood is the only begotten Son of God.
Therefore, as His Son he called God "my Father," and as flesh and blood "my God." It is written, "Jesus said, 'Do not hold on to me, for I have not yet returned to the Father. Go instead to my brothers and tell them, I am returning to my Father and your Father, to my God and your God.'" (John 20:17).
Therefore, the Bible says, "...when Christ came into the world, he said: 'Sacrifice and offering you did not desire, but a body you prepared for me.'" (Hebrews 10:5). The blood of the body, the son of David, that God prepared, is not the blood of the covenant; the blood of the Son of God whom God sent into the world is the blood of the covenant.
Therefore, if anyone does not believe in the blood of Jesus His Son, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself unblemished to God, neither can he cleanse his conscience from dead works, nor can he serve the living God.
And so the Bible says about the blood of Jesus His Son, "But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, his Son, purifies us from all sin." (1 John 1:7).
"Who have been chosen according to the foreknowledge of God the Father, through the sanctifying work of the Spirit, for obedience to Jesus Christ and sprinkling by his blood: Grace and peace be yours in abundance." (1 Peter 1:2). "Let us draw near to God with a sincere heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled to cleanse us from a guilty conscience and having our bodies washed with pure water." (Hebrews 10:22).
"The Spirit gives life; the flesh counts for nothing. The words I have spoken to you are spirit and they are life." (John 6:63). Amen. Thank you, Lord.
