Sold For Nothing, Redeemed Without Money

If it had been written in the Bible that before they ate from the knowledge of good and evil, Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden said, "This place is good for us," that Bible would not have been the writings of truth given by inspiration of God, but just a book written by the thoughts of man. It is written, "All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the man of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work." (2 Timothy 3:16-17).
Before they ate from the knowledge of good and evil, Adam and Eve could not know what good or evil is, what light or darkness is, what obedience or disobedience is, what life or death is, what a good thing or a bad thing is, and what a blessing or a curse is.
God teaches, rebukes, corrects and trains in righteousness the man whom He made in His image, in His likeness, so that he may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work. And so it is right that in order to achieve it, He makes disobedience (the first Adam) know sin, death and a curse, and after that, obedience (the last Adam) righteousness, life and a blessing.
The Bible says, "...Everyone brings out the choice wine first and then the cheaper wine after the guests have had too much to drink; but you have saved the best till now." (John 2:10). And also, "However, as it is written: 'No eye has seen, no ear has heard, no mind has conceived what God has prepared for those who love him.'" (1 Corinthians 2:9). What God has prepared for those who love him is not brought out first, but last.
Therefore, the Bible says about the foundation of creation, "Now the earth was formless and empty, darkness was over the surface of the deep, and the Spirit of God was hovering over the waters. And God said, 'Let there be light,' and there was light. God saw that the light was good, and he separated the light from the darkness. God called the light 'day,' and the darkness he called 'night.' And there was evening, and there was morning--the first day." (Genesis 1:2-5).
The Bible says about God's only begotten son, Christ Jesus the true light, that is, the radiance of God's glory, "The true light that gives light to every man was coming into the world. He was in the world, and though the world was made through him, the world did not recognize him. He came to that which was his own, but his own did not receive him. Yet to all who received him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God--children born not of natural descent, nor of human decision or a husband's will, but born of God. The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the One and Only, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth." (John 1:9-14).
The prophet Isaiah said about it, "The people walking in darkness have seen a great light; on those living in the land of the shadow of death a light has dawned." (Isaiah 9:2). And also the Gospels said, "the people living in darkness have seen a great light; on those living in the land of the shadow of death a light has dawned." (Matthew 4:16). And also it is written, "For God, who said, 'Let light shine out of darkness,' made his light shine in our hearts to give us the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Christ." (2 Corinthians 4:6).
Furthermore, the apostle John loved by the Lord says, "Yet I am writing you a new command; its truth is seen in him and you, because the darkness is passing and the true light is already shining." (1 John 2:8). And also Paul sent as the apostle to the Gentiles says about Christ Jesus the true light, "For he has rescued us from the dominion of darkness and brought us into the kingdom of the Son he loves, in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins." (Colossians 1:13-14).
It is written, "In the past God spoke to our forefathers through the prophets at many times and in various ways, but in these last days he has spoken to us by his Son, whom he appointed heir of all things, and through whom he made the universe. The Son is the radiance of God's glory and the exact representation of his being, sustaining all things by his powerful word. After he had provided purification for sins, he sat down at the right hand of the Majesty in heaven." (Hebrews 1:1-3).
Therefore, it is obvious that the Bible is the writings of truth which trains the man of God in righteousness and makes him complete and thoroughly equipped for every good work. And so the salvation is like this, "For this is what the LORD says: 'You were sold for nothing, and without money you will be redeemed.'" (Isaiah 52:3).
"For God has bound all men over to disobedience so that he may have mercy on them all." (Romans 11:32). Amen. Thank you, Lord.
