Those on Whose Hearts the Word is Written

It is written by the prophet, "But this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, says the LORD: I will put My law in their minds, and write it on their hearts; and I will be their God, and they shall be My people." (Jeremiah 31:33).
And again, it is written by the apostle, "For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, says the LORD: I will put My laws in their mind and write them on their hearts; and I will be their God, and they shall be My people." (Hebrews 8:10). The writing of new covenant is not on the flesh but on the Spirit.
In Scripture it says, "So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen. For what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal." (2 Corinthians 4:18). And again, "By faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that the things which are seen were not made of things which are visible." (Hebrews 11:3).
Therefore, all the working of God is done not by the image which is seen but by the substance which is unseen. It is written, "Then the LORD said to Moses, 'Write these words, for according to the tenor of these words I have made a covenant with you and with Israel.'" (Exodus 34:27). It is done not by the writing of those words which is seen but by the tenor of those words which is unseen.
Those who are taught by God follow not the teachings of the flesh which is seen but the teachings of the Spirit which is unseen. Therefore, those who are taught by man can never find the way of eternal life. The way of eternal life is Christ, the mystery of God. So in the Bible which makes us wise for salvation, the Lord Jesus said, "It is written in the prophets, 'And they shall all be taught by God.' Therefore everyone who has heard and learned from the Father comes to Me." (John 6:45).
As for the new testament, an epistle shown by Christ, we cannot find the new life in the words written with ink. It is written, "clearly you are an epistle of Christ, ministered by us, written not with ink but by the Spirit of the living God, not on tablets of stone but on tablets of flesh, that is, of the heart." (2 Corinthians 3:3).
It is written in the Bible which is a copy of the Word, "You diligently study the Scriptures because you think that by them you possess eternal life. These are the Scriptures that testify about me, yet you refuse to come to me to have life." (John 5:39-40).
Christ is in the heart, not in the written words. Faith is not in the written words, a copy which is seen, but in the heart which is unseen. So the Bible says, "For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation." (Romans 10:10). And also, "Examine yourselves as to whether you are in the faith. Test yourselves. Do you not know yourselves, that Jesus Christ is in you?--unless indeed you are disqualified." (2 Corinthians 13:5).
The Bible, the copy of the true Word, said, "for prophecy never came by the will of man, but holy men of God spoke as they were moved by the Holy Spirit." (2 Peter 1:21). And also, "For what man knows the things of a man except the spirit of the man which is in him? Even so no one knows the things of God except the Spirit of God." (1 Corinthians 2:11).
The way to salvation is not in the written words but in the tenor of the words. The Bible says about it, "Therefore, when Christ came into the world, he said: 'Sacrifice and offering you did not desire, but a body you prepared for me; with burnt offerings and sin offerings you were not pleased. Then I said, 'Here I am--it is written about me in the scroll--I have come to do your will, O God.'" (Hebrews 10:5-7).
Those who don't know the will of God argue about the written words in the scroll, saying, "The Bible that I have is more true than the one you have." It is as if the true inner kernel has all been taken for the children, and the servants argue about which husk is true. It is because the children already belong to the Spirit which is unseen but the servants still belong to the flesh which is seen.
The Lord is the Spirit. It is written, "Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom." (2 Corinthians 3:17). Therefore, the original text of the Bible is not a translated copy written on paper or leather, but the Spirit of Christ in us. It is written, "Concerning this salvation, the prophets, who spoke of the grace that was to come to you, searched intently and with the greatest care, trying to find out the time and circumstances to which the Spirit of Christ in them was pointing when he predicted the sufferings of Christ and the glories that would follow." (1 Peter 1:10-11).
Therefore, the Spirit exhorts the children of God who are together in where the Spirit of the Lord is, "But the anointing which you have received from Him abides in you, and you do not need that anyone teach you; but as the same anointing teaches you concerning all things, and is true, and is not a lie, and just as it has taught you, you will abide in Him." (1 John 2:27).
It is said by the Spirit, "However, as it is written: 'No eye has seen, no ear has heard, no mind has conceived what God has prepared for those who love him.'" (1 Corinthians 2:9).
The Word is not bound by any written copy. It is written, "because 'All flesh is as grass, And all the glory of man as the flower of the grass. The grass withers, And its flower falls away, But the word of the LORD endures forever.' Now this is the word which by the gospel was preached to you." (1 Peter 1:24-25). "Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever." (Hebrews 13:8).
Therefore, those on whose hearts the Word is written can hear his voice today, and also today can clearly see Christ as crucified. It is written, "Therefore God again set a certain day, calling it Today, when a long time later he spoke through David, as was said before: 'Today, if you hear his voice, do not harden your hearts.'" (Hebrews 4:7). And again, "You foolish Galatians! Who has bewitched you? Before your very eyes Jesus Christ was clearly portrayed as crucified." (Galatians 3:1).
"That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked at and our hands have touched--this we proclaim concerning the Word of life." (1 John 1:1). Amen. Thank you, Lord.
