Man is of No Account!

"Stop trusting in man, who has but a breath in his nostrils. Of what account is he?" (Isaiah 2:22).
Man was created on the same day as the beasts. He had the breath of life in his nostrils. This is the only thing that is different from the beasts: He has a sense of eternity in his heart.
Man is in highest honor under the sun, but he is of no account to God. "Nevertheless man, though in honor, does not remain; He is like the beasts that perish." (Psalms 49:12). And also,"For what happens to the sons of men also happens to animals; one thing befalls them: as one dies, so dies the other. Surely, they all have one breath; man has no advantage over animals, for all is vanity." (Ecclesiastes 3:19). And also, "All nations before Him are as nothing, And they are counted by Him less than nothing and worthless." (Isaiah 40:17). And also, "All the inhabitants of the earth are reputed as nothing; He does according to His will in the army of heaven And among the inhabitants of the earth. No one can restrain His hand Or say to Him, 'What have You done?' (Daniel 4:35).
Man seems to be something in the world, but he is nothing to God. The Bible says about man who is like nothing, "whereas you do not know what will happen tomorrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapor that appears for a little time and then vanishes away." (James 4:14).
Therefore, it is written about our Lord Jesus, who was sent into the world as a man, "But one testified in a certain place, saying: 'What is man that You are mindful of him, Or the son of man that You take care of him?'" (Hebrews 2:6).
Man is like a gnat! He is like a vapor that appears for a little time and then vanishes away! He is born to trouble! He is of no account! All men already died in the first man Adam! He shamefully lives by instinct like natural brute beasts made to be caught and destroyed! Therefore, the Lord Jesus cried out when he was a man, "What is man that You are mindful of him, Or the son of man that You take care of him?"
After all, I can only fell down on my face before God, worship Him and sing praises to Him forever, because of His love. He so loved the world that he gave the last Adam. For those who receive him, He makes them not perish, makes them become the children of God and makes them have eternal life.
It is written about a certain day, "Lift up your eyes to the heavens, look at the earth beneath; the heavens will vanish like smoke, the earth will wear out like a garment and its inhabitants die like flies. But my salvation will last forever, my righteousness will never fail." (Isaiah 51:6).
Therefore, the new children of God who gained Christ don't wait for man, the old creation. It is written, "The remnant of Jacob will be in the midst of many peoples like dew from the LORD, like showers on the grass, which do not wait for man or linger for mankind." (Micah 5:7).
The Lord Jesus did not also commit himself to men, when he, a life from above, was a man in the body of a life from below. It is written, "But Jesus did not commit Himself to them, because He knew all men, and had no need that anyone should testify of man, for He knew what was in man." (John 2:24-25).
The first man is not only vanity, but also he is by nature the disobedient body of sin, the object of wrath. Therefore, no one can see the kingdom of God unless he is born again.
To God, who is love and who is mindful of such man and takes care of such the son of man, be glory, power, and strength through our Lord Christ Jesus for ever and ever. Amen.
"Surely men of low degree are a vapor, Men of high degree are a lie; If they are weighed on the scales, They are altogether lighter than vapor." (Psalms 62:9). Thank you, Lord.
