Redemption Obtained And Salvation To Be Obtained

Redemption is the forgiveness of sins that all people on earth obtained through the bloodshedding death of Jesus Christ, who was sent as a man to redeem all the people on earth from sins in accordance with the righteousness of God.
Therefore, John the Baptist said about the redemption, "The next day John saw Jesus coming toward him and said, 'Look, the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world!'" (John 1:29). And also, Paul the Apostle said, "he did it to demonstrate his justice at the present time, so as to be just and the one who justifies those who have faith in Jesus." (Romans 3:26). And also, John the Apostle said, "He is the atoning sacrifice for our sins, and not only for ours but also for the sins of the whole world." (1 John 2:2).
Redemption is the blessing of God that is equally given to all the people on earth who have sinned. The Testimony said, "and through your offspring all nations on earth will be blessed, because you have obeyed me." (Genesis 22:18).
Therefore, the Bible said, "In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, in accordance with the riches of God's grace." (Ephesians 1:7). And again, the Bible said about the redemption obtained, "in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins." (Colossians 1:14).
Redemption is the righteousness of God that was accomplished in Christ Jesus, and salvation is the eternal love of God that will be accomplished in Christ Jesus.
Therefore, redemption was already obtained, and salvation is to be obtained. So the Book of Truth said, "For in this hope we were saved. But hope that is seen is no hope at all. Who hopes for what he already has? But if we hope for what we do not yet have, we wait for it patiently." (Romans 8:24-25). And also, the Holy Spirit exhorted us, "Therefore, my dear friends, as you have always obeyed--not only in my presence, but now much more in my absence--continue to work out your salvation with fear and trembling." (Philippians 2:12).
It is written, "so Christ was sacrificed once to take away the sins of many people; and he will appear a second time, not to bear sin, but to bring salvation to those who are waiting for him." (Hebrews 9:28).
And so the Bible says about the salvation to be obtained, "But we ought always to thank God for you, brothers loved by the Lord, because from the beginning God chose you to be saved through the sanctifying work of the Spirit and through belief in the truth. He called you to this through our gospel, that you might share in the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ." (2 Thessalonians 2:13-14).
The faith in the promise of God is the same as the promise fulfilled, and so the Bible said that the salvation to be obtained had already been obtained through faith. The Bible said, "For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith--and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God." (Ephesians 2:8).
It is because there are no past, present and future in the faith in God. The Lord said, "Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours." (Mark 11:24). And also, "Yet he did not waver through unbelief regarding the promise of God, but was strengthened in his faith and gave glory to God, being fully persuaded that God had power to do what he had promised. This is why 'it was credited to him as righteousness.'" (Romans 4:20-22). And also, it is the same as this confidence: "being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus." (Philippians 1:6). And we all say "Amen" in faith.
Therefore, the Bible said about the substance of faith, "Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. For by it the elders obtained a good testimony." (Hebrews 11:1-2).
Therefore, the Bible plainly distinguishes the obtained redemption from the salvation to be obtained, "so Christ was sacrificed once to take away the sins of many people; and he will appear a second time, not to bear sin, but to bring salvation to those who are waiting for him." (Hebrews 9:28).
Therefore, redemption, the forgiveness of sins, was obtained by believing what we heard, and salvation, the glory of Christ Jesus, is to be obtained by faith working through love. And so the Bible said, "For in the gospel a righteousness from God is revealed, a righteousness that is by faith from first to last, just as it is written: 'The righteous will live by faith.'" (Romans 1:17). Amen. Thank you, Lord.
